LinuxGSM Experimental

Hi Guys,

I am running an Ubuntu Linux server hosting  7 Days dedicated, but at this stage it keeps downloading the stable build, we would like to upgrade to experimental when A19 launches.

Does anyone know how to set LinuxGSM to download & update on experimental builds?

I don't know if LinuxGSM can do that directly, but basically it's very simple:

Just append "-beta latest_experimental" to your steamcmd app_update.

From what quick googled LinuxGSM, it just uses some steamcmd scripts in the background.

If you haven't found it yet, put this in the ~//lgsm/config-lgsm/sdtdserver/sdtdserver.cfg file:

branch="-beta latest_experimental"




You want to basically put that right below where you put the ip information in that file, on a new line.
