PC Light sync issue

When my wife's head lamp on mining helmet is on, its off on my screen, when its off on hers its then on on mine.

how can we fix this?

There are multiple sync issues like this-

lights do not show from other players reliable

other player driving a gyrocopter - the blades don't spin to onlookers

player driving a jeep, wheels don't spin to other players and top-gear noise is completely silent

etc

bugs.

Not sure the pimps have even acknowledged them

Do you think the evs will ever fix the syncing of flashlights in multiplayer games?

You know the issue: player #1 has a mining helmet, no one else can ctually see the light coming off it.

"Follow me!" says the mining helmet dude, running off into the darkness; absolutely zero illumination coming off him.

Seems like this has been a problem for a while (I remember it from 14.X days), but has it ever actually been acknowledged?

Hubby and I have been using it as an asset when stealthing into POIs. As long as we're close together, he gets the benefit of my light (which is not great but not negligible either) and I get the benefit of his, while both of us get the stealth effect of having our lights turned off.

It's really kind of cheaty, in that regard.

This as well as other sync issues such as not seeing what each other is actually wearing. Change clothes or switch weapons, and it doesn't update for your peeps for a long time, if at all.

I think the pimps are ignoring this, because they think it's working.

However - it's ctually working the opposite: my husband has a mining helmet on; when the light is *OFF* I see it (of course for him, it's dark).

When the light is on, the room lights up for him, but not for me.

The code is bugged for sure.

More proof that Einstein was right... light really is relative! ;-)

Hopefully it goes fixed soon, back to the expected Newtonian behaviour. ;-)
