Learn by doing hybrid - MadMole mentioned, was this scrapped for 3.0

I thought LBD was coming back in some hybrid form. I remember listening to MadMole discuss this a few months back.

Is this in 3.0, or was this scrapped?

That was one of the things I was most looking forward to. I mod it into my game now and wish it was in vanilla.
 
Iirc, it was always a "I'm looking into some options", never a "we'll do this at some point". Much less a promised patch version.
 
I was under the impression it was for sure coming back at some point. The question was more so what form it takes.

It's the one RPG thing that I miss the most. The putting points in things and magazine only progression feels very arcade like and not RPG like it once was.
 
Hybrid LBD will be great with all the new settings. We can then choose which system we want, all points or LBD, so whoever doesn't like it, could just keep it as is. We should also be able to control how much we level up by doing, similar to how we can control magazines now. I can't wait!!
