What I would like land claim blocks to do is protect the claimed zone from zombies just like a church would protect against demons. In practice it would be a small portable trader zone within which you could build and modify blocks. This version could require a special blueprint or whatever or completely forego the PVP protection in favor of zombie protection to make it more immersive.
I wouldn't want my Land Claim to be immune to damage, personally, but I do want to be able to have the ability to upgrade my basic (current) LCB, to have additional features.
My playstyle is different than many other players, in that, I enjoy building bases. I enjoy building forward operating bases, I enjoy building "Hunting Stands", I enjoy building 'out in the middle of nowhere' bases and towers, just to have a place for some cooking, crafting, and supplies.
I would love to have a system that allowed me to build a reputation with any given (specific) trader, which would allow more land claims and land claim block options, within that traders vicinity. The more reputation you get, the more and better your land claim rights near that trader.
Being able to upgrade my LCB to include "
Repair All" buttons and "
Teleporter" functions would be a great addition, for any one that wants to have more than just a base or two. If folks could move freely between bases, all that travel time between bases all over the map would be easy, and storage wouldn't be an issue. This is a potentially great help for any and all players that want to be able to have many bases.
I wouldn't want unlimited repairs, and none during Horde Night, but at least once per day, initially, and with additional questing, the ability to unlock multiple repairs/day.
