PC Killed in SP by another player?

You check to make sure it was SP? I accidentally started a MP game one time and someone joined and scared the bejeezus out of me lol.

Yeah I have a vague memory of someone posting that. Another reason to check if it was a MP game. Although that wouldn't make it any better.

Yeah I think it was a social mod to get us nerds that play games alone to get out and mingle and try to interact with others....even if it is just online.

Likely was an accidental MP game. Sometimes for whatever reason it's set to MP when you pick the game options and your game gets globally visible. (Before A16 having a claim block at start was a good indicator of that happening)

However if you didn't get a message of him joining the game and also the fact he instantly homed in on your house and obtained explosives to wreck your stuff suggests he did "hack" in some way too.

Yes, if it was an accidental MP game then he did join "legally" :) but the other parts were not nice.

I must admit I have joined some games I thought were accidental MP games just to see how people reacted. Some just asked how I was doing and some immediately shut down their game :D ....am thinking they restarted after that...

 
The beauty of the new system is that you will just select “1 player” instead of a separate mode and there won’t be any other mode for the game to bug out and switch to. But at any time you can redesignate the number of players if you want friends to join your world.

Well - I've done that too - started MP when I thought it was SP... Then got Valmod with "Jason" and was thinking that was another player too!!! LOL
