PC Keeping low level guns?

Hey guys,

In Alpha 16, it used to be worth it to keep low level guns + their parts, since you could combine the parts in the workbench to upgrade them to a better version.

In 17, it seems like combining is removed from the workbenches, and weapon parts have obviously been removed as well.

Is there currently any reason to hang on to a stash of low level weapons anymore? And/or can you still combine them in any way?

As far as I can tell there is no reason to hold onto weapons. Once you got the gun you like you can scrap all others for parts or for selling to the trader. Either way you do get the ammo out of them which is nice and is often overlooked.

But this might get more noticeable in the PC section and not as much in the console section

I would really love if the Console section could have a other color or so.
