You can archive your world saves to the cloud on PlayStation. Then if you hit a bug, delete your local save and restore it from the cloud archive.
Thread isn't valid on multiple points. Most people would.

No you can't do that that's the problem with ps5 games you can do that with ps4 games but not ps5 it only saves your game not your save game with that link so you only have the option to pay a monthly subscription or you have the risk like me the game breaks and your world is goneYou can do it to a cheap external drive as well. No need for cloud storage.
How to back up and restore PS5 console data
Backing up your data regularly is a great way to ensure that important data is saved. You can use a USB storage device to back up saved data from your PlayStation®5 console.www.playstation.com
Consoles have very little space available that is allowed for each game, and this game uses more space for saves compared to most other games. Keeping backups of your games would mean the very limited number of different games you can have on console at any one time would be cut in half. Some may be fine with that, and others may not. Considering there are options for backing up your games on PS5 (not sure about XBox), there isn't really any need for that. You have cloud options available if you want them. Yes, it costs money, but it works for more than just this game and probably has other benefits. If that's not something you want, you can use an external drive. That may have an initial cost to buy the drive, but you can get a small drive for not much money. And then that drive can be used with your console for any games, and you can even use it for your computer (if you have one) once you're done using it for the console, if you want to.
