 Feel free to tack on your own instances of this happening, but it never occurred to me that you could smelt cobblestone rocks in the forge. Suddenly hitting up those cobblestone pallets doesn't seem like a time/space waste anymore once you're in the age of concrete.

same. hmm.. wonder if you can convert them to sand in the cement mixer?

I scrap em in inventory all the time once past early game. Not worth the inventory slot to carry to forge but free stone is always welcome.
