PC Issues with zombie spawning

So I've been playing on a survival world for a little bit with the zombie spawn setting turned off but when I turn the zombie spawning setting back on in the menu when I load in, I lose the ability to do anything, I can't aim since my crosshair is messed up I can't switch gear, can't jump or interact with anything and I don't understand why changing the spawn setting causes all of this.

Is my world just glitched or is this an issue with the changing settings, anyone got any pointers.

This is a nasty bug and it is being looked into and will get fixed when they figure it out,there is a lot of us with this bug.
