Issue with monitor that turns off

I have this issue only with this game. It could be problem with my monitor, but it doesnt mean that it broken (at cyberbug all good). Just could be bad settings on it.

Spec of computer (I think that doesnt mean anything):

4070ti

12600kf

32gb RAM

If u could see on 2nd video, all image on monitor is like blurred/pixalated. I have G-sync and its all cb because of it. One time I tried to turn it off and it worked, but on the next day this issue came back. And it never goes to black screen, just to blurry, this day is special. How could i fix it? Maybe somebody had similar issue too?

 
Having just built two computers with similar specs, I did run into a similar issue. One was refresh rate, and the other ended up being a bad connection on cable.  Both only triggered when playing certain games.

Also note that 7 Days doesn't operate like normal games. It is CPU-bound, and not GPU-bound. It will track down hardware and configuration problems faster than some benchmarking software.

 
Yeah in addition to what Sylen said, maybe it's some bug in Unity too that may be fixed in A22 which has an updated version, I recall an issue using G-sync that was similar. My issue was if I had too many monitors on at once (4-5), my main one or one of the side ones would go blank/resync. That's what's going on, when they get out of sync it's like a driver reload.

 
My monitor is new and cable also. In cs2 one time I had similar thing and with HM&M. I needed to turn off all g-sync features? I tried to lock fps on 120 and it didnt work. Maybe I will try to lock on 60? I also have 2nd monitor, its TV but it always off

 
Just because a cable is new, doesn't mean it is good. Especially if it shipped with the monitor or GPU.

If the refresh rate of the TV is low enough, that could cause an issue as well. Even if it is turned off, it is still counted in the configuration in Windows.  I have seen that happen with a triple-monitor setup where two were set to 144Hz and one was set to 60Hz, though it was the 60Hz monitor that would shut off. Only occurred with Freesync/G-Sync enabled.

 
Yeah I would go the "try one thing see if it fixes it" route here. Turn g-sync off completely and see if it does it, if it doesn't, then enable it with only one monitor; if you only have one monitor, use g-sync but lower the refresh rate until it doesn't do it. If g-sync isn't the issue, try lower refresh rates still. 

I have had a dead cable out of the box once, it happens. 

 
TV has 120hz and I locked to 120 too, but it doesnt work. I will try to turn it off. And cable was with the monitor in package, I think Samsung cant let it happend...

 
I watched your videos and I'm quite confident it's the HDMI cable causing all your problems. (blinking monitor can occasionally mess with the GPU causing other issues like blur / "double vision").

HDMI cables these days are a joke IMO. First thing I've been doing lately for everyone I know is replace their HDMI cable on their PC with Display Port cable version 1.4 or newer (depending on their monitor specs). I find with HDMI cables, even opening a Chrome browser, the monitor will often blink off and back on again for no reason at all. This has so far happened to my friend, my sister, 3 of my clients and myself. HDMI standards are just not good enough.

Also, screw the makers of HDMI for refusing to support Linux.

I have DP connection to my pc))) With HDMI it could be only 120hz, but with DP 240hz

 
Ok, I solve this problem (by workaround of course).

1st of all, u need to turn off all sync features.

2nd, in NVIDIA panel or desktop change refresh rate to 120. In NVIDIA panel u will need to click on "Ultra hd, hd, sd" (dont click on PC) and choose ur screen resolution (then choose 120hz)

3nd (not important), lock fps to 120 in game.

I tried to lock fps in game previosly, but it didnt work. I just needed to choose lower hz on my monitor. So stupid...
