Your player profile is corrupt. The most common cause is when the game is not properly shut down.
Some examples would be a computer shut down, or power outage while the game is running, or
using ALT-F4 to shut down the game.
To fix it use the launcher/tools/Clean game data... menu to clean your player profile.
