Is zombie damage and debuffs a glitch in A21

Im noticing that zombies in A21 vs A20 and prior now hit you with bleeding out, lacerations, broken bones, etc, with just about every hit. Is this working as intended, because it feels way excessive compared to earlier versions of the game. Dogs causing instant laceration and bleed out, okay, I will buy it, but for every zombie hit to cause either laceration, broken bone, concussion, etc . . . naw, that is just way to unbalanced. 

 
Ah. Good to know, thank you. Im hoping the eventually add some toggles or someone comes up with away to disable the location pop up. While it is nice to ad some flair with the name of the buildings and such, showing how difficult they are takes the surprise element out of it.
