...is there a mod (or other means) that allows you to temporarily remove Trader protection?

I'm trying to destroy the remains of a neighboring POI that was within the Trader's protection radius.

I'd also like to remove a few indestructible trash heaps that have been flaying my tires for far too long.

I ~think~ those only allow you to disable protection for a new game (i.e. not on an existing game).

Well, most questions lately have been moved to "questions", so I went along those lines.

The trailer protection is written to the Chunk in a game, so you would have to do it and start a new game.
