I've tried increasing the panic speed of the timid animal node in entityclasses.xml and I've also tried appending such code to the Stag node. But in-game the Stag moves at the same slow speed, where I can easily catch up.
Is there an upper cap or am I missing something?
I've increased sightrange and field of view as well, but the animals still don't run away any earlier.
Just curious why editing these values doesn't seem to make a difference.
