Is my computer dying?

Similar problems appear when the GPU gets faulty. If you can test it with another one, would help solve the problem a lot.

Delete all video drivers and install latest if you haven`t.

A failing power supply can also cause odd problems. Since the graphics card pulls from the 12V rail, you might have issues there that don't show up on the main board.

If it's easier/cheaper to swap out the power supply than the graphics card, you might want to try that if redoing the drivers doesn't work.
