Is it possible to mod in more blocks that requires to be hooked up to an electric grid?

Just wondering if it's yet possible to add one's own block and have it use electricy? for example craft an oven that works like a campfire (without fuel ofcourse), but consumes electricy when running?

There's a quite a few oven mods, BUT I'm not sure which ones make it so the oven requires power to function.

Yeah, thats easy to make Still seems like the electricity part is locked down/hardcoded for some weird reason.

Would open up a whole world of amazing mods if that would be xml settings
