Iron-Hatch-Left-Right!

Notice the little metal patch on the bottom left.. hatch will then open to the right.

So many times I've placed them wrong, well no more! =)

(The devs already know, and hopefully we'll get a distinguishable handle in the future)

I would kill for a handle on the hatches. I've often just put up wooden ones so you can see the hinges and place accordingly then upgrade as you need, but a handle I vote yes.

Yea it's really easy once you know what to look for. Place that square in the bottom right and the hatch opens away from you.

I use a similar method. Thanks Bubo for the little heart icon tho.

Do you have a tip for garage doors? i keep placing them backwards...

^Wherever you place them (no rotating) they swing open towards you, as you're facing it.
