PC Intelligence Builds

Oh my goodness PLEASE add a real gun to intellect. The robotic turret is cool and good, but it's not a gun. Might I suggest, a LASER GUN. 🔫

Welcome to the forums.

Perhaps I'm the weirdo, but I don't run all my points into one stat and I use guns from all of the branches. Some will say that's not optimal, but zombies do die. The difference is probably something like one bullet, though I haven't done the math.

"real gun" <-> laser gun ... Rrrrrright...

Heh. Maybe a TASER? It kind of fits with the stun baton. Also, in a group it makes a kind of "controller" role.

Doesn´t really feel incomplete for me, but that´s probably because guns for me are for blood moons and emergencies only, no matter which build. But with INT you don´t need one even for emergencies.

You also don´t need to worry that much about coal, nitrate and brass, a huge time save.  What put´s most people off with an INT build is that you need to play a bit different than when using a gun as main weapon, i guess.

When playing INT i strongly recommend using molotovs a lot. And as said above, not putting points in other attributes isn´t a good idea anyways. So if you feel the need for using a gun, don´t put all your points in INT. Shotguns with strength is a no brainer here imo as you probably want miner69er and master chef anyways.

I prefer handguns 90% of the game. as for me int build makes no sense until you can throw lots of points into it, and that would be - late game, or after you acquired some points into pistols/bows.

You can unlock 3/5 in shotguns by just spending 3 points in strength and equiping a cigarr. From there you can get 3/4 heavy armor and maxed out miner69:er + motherload if you want, which synergize well with int builds.

It's almost too easy

I'm honestly suprised the cigarr still gives +1 strength with the new head mods. Might have been an oversight as its a bit too good imo

But it feels incomplete imo
I suspect that it feels incomplete to many, because it starts with a melee weapon and ends with an AOE melee weapon.  Many players prefer the safety of ranged combat and massive DPM. INT builds do not scratch the itch of the FPS crowd and are OP at this point to balance around no ranged attack.
