Pie rifle is actually just fine for its high single-shot damage. Pipe shotgun is by far the most garbage pipe gun, with it's HORRIFIC reload speed and (like the rifle) single shot.
Although the pipe shotgun does have its uses. On my first hoard night doing a perception run, my side arm was the pipe shotgun. Took out 3 Zambees in a tight row. So it can be useful in the right situation.
