PC I'm looking at an athletic hat with fitness item buying -2%. Haven't a clue

Generally it seems like a good idea, it could work as a specialist kind of bonus for players who want to use a lot of the potions,pills and candies that give massive bonuses for a short time. I.e. this is partly a sandbox and it would be a unique way to play the game.

But for being that specialist the bonus would have to be much much bigger. 2% bonus means after buying 50 candies you can get one for free. That is ridiculous.

Maybe, but generally it seems the lower quality armors are all not that good compared to primitive armor. They often have maluses (medium and heavy armor) but no advantages in terms of armor or slots.

My group essentially started crafting non-primitive armors only after quality 3 became craftable with the additional slot and some bonuses actually seemed to be large enough to make a difference

So if quality 6 has 50% bonus, then quality 1 should at least start with 10%, maybe even more.

Even then it cost the same as other armors like preachers.  Each armor should have a class role and slightly different from each other. 

And sense light armors give less protection it should give more buffs
