PC I'm having a hard time finding other traders

Is there some method you can employ that might help you find them or is it just random?

Just random, but I know they are aways out of cities but in the vicinity, and they are aways near roads. If I am having a hard time finding then, I build a Giro and go explore.

 
If only there was a quest to deliver goods/messages from one trader to another........until the network is complete.......

especially if they move to certain traders specializing in certain goods.

in the console you can type

givequest quest_whiteRiverCitizen1

that trigger the initial quest, if you type that while exploring you can find different trader

 
I believe the roads that they are ALWAYS on are gravel roads. The main roads might not help other than to reveal smaller gravel roads leading away.
