Here is What I am in the middle of now.
I am testing some of the presets, and extremes looking for a sweet spot
that kind of pulls me in. I think I am pretty close. It takes combining my PopTop
zombies and the flood with Headshot only and rearranging what is found in loot and
the weighted percentages.
I have no map, no initial quest, am playing on my custom map, added to the entity
groups to give more variety, max volume, adjusted fast respawn. But using 90%
Romero 10% Night of the living dead, and Vultures spawn within all biomes insta
attack type.
What lets me know that I am close to what I like is. I went to the trader; now I have
played this map before a few times. But I got infected and with the reduced loot chance
for certain things, I had to go Paul Bunyan to find two honey jars. By the time I did it was
night fall, I have no clue where exactly the 24 hour trader is, climbed on top of a small passNgas,
ate and drew in a lot of aggro. One was standing on top of a gas can pounding the wall, so
I shot in the dark and pretty much blew up the backyard because of the car an other tanks
close by. Reminded me of when I use to line them up to make a quick moat.
So as I'm watching the pyrotechnics in the dark, i realize I'm getting hurt. Looked up there
is a zombie on the ledge above me. The explosion had catapulted it to the roof, no headshot
no death. So I killed it with a club and decided to take stock of my situation finally.
I was just in a loin cloth, and had never noticed. Probably because of how hard it is to stab
multiple vultures in the face with a bone knife.
