Now a little more to the point...
I'm not gonna tell them how to develop, but I would like to point out the fact that a lot of #gates and harsh public responses are due to failures in communication strategy and tone (lets call the communication style rough around the edges). When you participate in EA / Kickstarter a certain way of communication can reasonably be and is expected, even if it's not 'legally hammered down'. While I kinda prefer clear before polite that is a (small) minority of people.
If we also had A17 and it landed 'good' I'd also tell em to watch carefully as I eat my words ...
Back when they decided to give Telltale the console development I was openly very critical about my expectations for the development of the PC version as a result of that move. We don't have A17 nor an end product yet but I think we're safe to say that those predictions didn't come true.
Though i'm not necessarily a fan of all streamlining decisions they have maintained development for the PC (not cut down to console style and then drop like a hot potato) and as we can see with the bad demise of said Telltale they haven't let it drag them down with (as we have seen differently repeatedly elsewhere). Also: with the new mod options effects we seem too get all we had back and more, if someone is willing to mod it.
So while I stand by my observation in general and do not retract my doubts of the then-days and while i'm holding on to a last shred of reservation till we actually have A17....
It appears I was wrong (remove it appears after we are generally happy with A17) to doubt them on this point.
So MadMole ^^ that one's for you. Savour it. It's rarer then a freaking forge ahead book back in the day
