I just got the game recently and am doing a quest to clear a location. The name of the location is house_modern_01. How do I identify the house?

 
In your compass (in the central upper region of your screen) there will be a "!" showing the direction to the house. Once there you should see a big yellow "!" in front of the house that you have to click on to start the quest

 
And make sure you are ready to commit to completing the quest before you click on the big yellow exclamation point.  If you leave the game before the quest is finished the progress will be reset.  Not a big deal until you get to Tier 4 quests and higher, but worth noting.

 
Not just not quitting the game while the mission is running, but you also have to stay inside (close around) the poi untill the mission goals are fullfilled. If you leave, the mission fails.

So no break and resupply at home, if you run out of bandages, amunition or almost starve.

 
If you die it is the same as leaving so that will also abort the mission for you.

Early on I'd recommend finding a POI near the trader (but not too close) to make your base for quick access to missions.  As you play more and get used to things you will probably find that less appealing.
