Ideas for cooking stations and storing drinks or food

I think it would be nice to have different cooking stations instead of just the firepit maybe make the stove so you can cook and make drinks on it for it to work you would need to either #1 find propane tanks and attach it maybe even craft them and be able to fill them at any of the propane tanks found in the wild\ #2 wire it into a power source also would not mind the use of a fridge maybe cold drinks or hot coffee would give a bonus like maybe cold drinks would give a quenching thirst bonus instead of giving 24 water for filtered water maybe give 34 because its cold i think this would be a awesome addition to the game

 
An electric stove has been suggested several times and I'm still a fan of the idea. Maybe...

  • It cooks a little faster.
  • Maybe it turns itself off when done cooking. (Ovens have timers.)
  • Maybe some of the advanced recipes require it.
I would like to think that there's some stuff you realistically couldn't cook on a campfire like maybe some of the soups

And even add more foods! That buff stats or for better builds!. 

 
I would love to have one single stove that is capable of cooking 4 dishes at the same time. This can be extremely useful in co-op/multiplayer. A better stove might require less wood or coal, or even cook on fuel idk.
Gas or electric would make sense and being able to cook more at once would be nice.  Still, I like having fire.  😁. Lol.  A stove would be great, though.  I know at least one mod added working appliances.  I never tried it, though.

 
I was just thinking this how cool would it be to have options for something other than a fire.  Although my thought was just holding R and having the ability to select a stove and it function just as the fire would.

I like the way you think even if you can change the appearance that's my main thought and it would be nice to cook more than 1 at a time 

 
I like these ideas, because it would open up an additional play aspect.

Some of the Pois have electricity now and some do not. There could be a

reason to go to a swarm filled place, to repair it. Main Power station, substations

that control quadrants, Water, Oil, Sewer, even radio. 

Main power: all goes black including switches, and only remote units would function.

Substations: same as above only in quadrants.

Water: Filtering the water sources removing radiation. But you would need a rad suit to

work there. Rain water would be radioactive, can be made drinkable but still causes illness.

Oil: same as substations but located mainly in burnt and rad area.

Sewer: needed in order to plant in certain areas,  otherwise you get tainted growth. 

eventually turning the forest into a wasteland.

Radio: must be repaired in order for the mike setup to work in various quadrants

during multiplayer.

Game logic: Zombies are attracted to heat already, they would have a tendency to

attack these types of installations. A lot of resources would be needed to make them function

again, ergo repurposing some of the loot scavenged.

It would give a reason for each of the specialized pois that already exist and seem to be partially

functional at the moment.

Heat to be honest is just a code word for sound like gunfire generators mining produce "heat" it builds up until a screamer spawns 

 
I first realized it from one of the early releases, the mini map showed a graphic display of the

range. Then i a later alpha I used f8 hit twice to see heat. Then after that Faatal explained heat

event. So for me I did an experimental mod, that raised the heat level as you walked on gravel

wood concrete metal and road, but made it decline walking on terrain.

Those buildings even though no on is there are constantly functioning, well game representation of

functioning. So I figured they could have a heat buildup algorithm added to their model, and add

multiple devices that would need repair, randomly in the building. Sort of like Gna mod had them

focus on the land claim block.

 
Ok so my idea for a cooking stove Is

You can craft some stuff in the campfire but it takes a LONG time some stuff a good 5 mins then you upgrade to the stove 

It cost 20 steel, 100 iron, 15 pipes, 20 mechanical parts 3 cooking pots and 2 grills 

It's a 1x2 like the forge and work bench

The cooking  stove can craft some stuff  instantly While others take a little bit longer like a minute you can't cook gunpowder but you still Make glue
