PC I don't understand why my base hasn't collapsed

I just made some major modifications and extended the roof way out. I'm looking up at it and it seems to me it should have collapsed. I always over build my base. I don't want to lose a pillar to an attack and have the whole thing collapse. This time it looks like I've made a mistake. But it's still there.

Rum is messing with my judgment. I'm going to switch to Bourbon

I disagree. One can of Coke plus two jiggers of rum does not make me fly. It makes me die more often in the game.
