I died and my bike location did not show up on my radar until I logged off and logged back on

I do not drop anything on death

I finished a mission and had the return to trader indicator on my radar

Got killed by a puma. This was in the snow biome

Chose respawn on my bed. I was 1.7 km away

My mission had return to trader. The trader indicator was on

My bike location was off. I had no way to find it.

I returned to the trader and finished the mission

I still could not locate my bike

I exited out of the game to the command line.

Got back in, my bike was indicated and I returned to it.

Just barely managed to get on and drive away before the puma killed me again. Lol
