I found it on my pc here:

C:\Users\omitted\AppData\LocalLow\The Fun Pimps\7 Days To Die\Unity\local.362f0856a1e8486469f0962be8e5e9c5\Analytics

and change the values to this:

Intersting, but many games do this, often its used in the bug tracking process during beta/alpha's. An opt out though would be apprecated though for those that care as we know how paranoid people are these days.

I'm a tad paranoid yet I doubt you realize how big a market there is for buying people's information, $42 billion for 2018. As long as it's just for the game, I don't care, yet with big money comes big temptations. Lastly there are things on my pc that I'd like to keep..... private ; P *pun intended*

So you're worried that the Fun Pimps might illicitly snoop on other stuff you're doing on your computer, but trust them enough that an opt-out setting would be respected?

Welcome to every game, Operating System, Smart Phone, and anything that has existed in the online age. You pay for the right to use their property. If you really that paranoid then you shouldn't have any tech at all. The sad reality to games is way less then 1% of the people who own them visit a forum, much less give feedback on them.

This whole time did you honestly think a game is balanced based on feedback alone? Or any software?

Sounds like you need a reality check.

Wow! Why so serious, I'm obviously joking about it and many in here are sh*tting bricks. I know the digital age is all about gathering data, the most there gonna find is some rule 34 stuff on my pc. I was bored an sifting threw the pages for mod ideas, that my level of stupid can do.

It's part of the bug report tool. If the client detects the crash, you'll get a pop up to send information. It's used for data collection in regards to that tool. As was previously stated, it's not data mining, and has been common in games for at least 20 years.

ok guys, calm down. it's 2KB of data in a >terabyte world an ppl have me falling out of my seat lmao! i'll see myself to the door as none of my jokes are hitting the mark
