PC How to remove my drone PS5

Now I have this issue in my buddy's world. Game was lagging so we both restated how ever my drone now lives under ground next to new base. I can see the icon on the map and if far enough back I see the icon sitting on the ground. Dug a few blocks down and not really in the mood to dig to bed rock next to base... 

Just hoping it shows up tomorrow 

Any patches coming to fix the bug?

 
Title says it all, I am having trouble with this I can't seem to deploy my drone lol fella was pretty essential to progress. I've tried logging in and out it's persisted for a few days now.any help would be awesome I am playing on xbox

 
Do you have the perk that lets you deploy 2 robotics? I do and after no word on a fix I placed a sledge turret as my 2nd, then drank a forgetting elixir and removed all perks and since you can only have one robot without the perk it removed my drone that now lives underground as being deployed and only kept the sledge I put down 2nd. I still have the icon showing next to the base but at least I can now deploy two robots again. Playing on Xbox but should work for PS

 
Nevermind... I have been picking up my new drone before stopping each day, today I'm back to owning the drone that lives underground... I hope this gets fixed

 
I sympathize with console users experiencing this. The sad thing is, we have effective workarounds on PC. You can open the F1 console and enter “jd clear” to remove an existing drone. Or you can find and delete your drones.dat and drones.dat.bak files to accomplish the same thing. Unfortunately, neither of those options are available for the Console Edition. I’m told it’s actually a certification requirement from Sony and Microsoft that players can’t access a dev console.

I wonder if a design change has been considered. When you attempt to place a second drone, perhaps the player could have the option of placing it at the expense of destroying the first drone - similar to how land claim blocks work. Most people wouldn’t want to do this in normal circumstances, but it seems preferable to drones being inaccessible to that player forever after.

So my Drone has just disappeared from where I died. I was killed on the top floor of a huge skyscraper building.  I've went back numerous times to the exact spot a spun my camera around looking for it. I even tried flying the gyrocopter over the spot where it shows the icon, still it says it's there but it's not. I'm not sure how to fix this glitch. I can't use another Drone cuz it says it's still there. A since I'm on xbox I cannot for the life of me find a method to clear the Drone or ownership so I can use a new one. Please help I'm so mad lol!

D you ever find it? Mine did the same and the icon is there but I can not find it and I’ve tore a chunck of the building apart D
