ok! so i started doing this with direwolves and feral wights(havent gotten a direwolf with it yet but i managed one wight) so i am glad to see someone else has had the same idea AND succeeded with it! i will make squares instead of rectangles and start using stones. thanks for the link!

2.0 update will effect this, new players well not be able to just run to wasteland as a new player. Still a good tip though for players

i hope that is not so, i like setting up my base in the desert and snow biomes by day two and i was looking to eventually early-game base in the other biomes as well
