PC How to delete a stuck inv quest item?

We have a mp server, and one white river quest items didn't delete from a player inv.

I know I fixed this a few weeks ago for someone, but can't recall how we deleted it.

Any advice?

 
Did you try cancel the quest in the quests panel ?

If the item failed to get deleted, I asume they already completed the quest and it cant be cancelled.

Maybe eating glass could fix it?

 
Did you died with the item in inventory?

If so, it'll be stuck there, you'd have to recover your backpack and then complete the quest for it to go.

 
Did you by any chance open the trader inventory window after completing the quest? I’ve found that after you get your questbitem reward by returning to the trader you often don’t get the xp reward and maybe the item doesn’t get taken from you until you open the trader inventory screen.

Basically you go into DM, open creative menu and you have option appear ontop of your inventory: Empty my inventory.. that way you delete everything. Its a bug that has already been reported.

It happens when you have 2 burried supplies quests open and once you dig out the first one you get double supplies instead of one. And once you get the other chest you may also get one, so you are left with one extra.

I just had this problem the other day so the memory is fresh :)

Hmm i ask me now if a quest would be a workarround for serveradmins

A quest that give as reward -1Questcrate

Sadly no way that i try this at the moment. Dont want to screw my mod i work on
