PC How many minute days is your default goto?

How many minute days do you choose regularly? You can add why, and if you favor melee, or projectile

I have been working on some math, and thinking about spawn.
I'm curious how many minute days do you play most often.
This is my first poll so forgive me if it's Janky.

The idea is a mod that can rollover to each new update with a simple
copy and paste of two files. It also must take into account keeping
the present, fps, and not artificially inflating levels and stages, but
providing a more robust terrain environment.

The thought comes from the "Wisperers" to possibly be applied to the Zombies
creating a temporary but not too overwhelming frenzied coalition.

Mainly playing in coop it´s usually 60. However if i play solo it´s 50.

For more participation, i would post this on the steam forums, discord and facebook groups. Last poll i saw here got something like 15 votes.

When I first started, I was playing 90 minute days, but it felt a little unbalanced, I've since gone back to 60 minute days and haven't changed it in a couple years now, I think.
Over all, I think I prefer melee, but early game, I'm not shy about using my bow, and later on I don't hesitate to start pumping hot lead into those ugly green boys.. but if I think I can clean it up with melee, I do it.

A21 and earlier, I tended to do 60 minute days

Now I been doing 50 minute days

Not a big leap, but I tried 30 minute days and felt rushed all the time

I don't think I've ever played on anything other than 120 minute days.  I hate feeling rushed, and a tend to be a somewhat slow gamer (I get distracted constantly, have a tendency to watch things processing, zone out when mining, etc.) so I've never really felt a need.  I tried doing horde every 3 nights (so similar to 60 minute days, sorta) and I hated how rushed I felt.

I've thought about trying horde every night, but I think I'd hate it.  Not because of the difficulty, just because I'd be annoyed having to constantly interrupt what I'm doing.

Thanks for the replies so far.

I have started by basing my initial configs on 60 min days, tested on 120 to see the difference.

None so far. TFP setting is almost there by default. I removed the tags append. This allows more street

walkers. Still testing because fps drops around building. I want to keep it playable on diff hardware.

At .00167 for all three it quickly turns into a mini 64 horde in the streets in 5 minutes, depending on DPS.

Presently have it staggered to 1, 3, 5 minutes, realtime respawn. Took into partial account DPS as a person

gets advanced skills and weaps, so gave myself t6compound and steel arrows. This character is only lvl 12 gs24.

This is an idea of the  settings in pine forest.

<!-- *** PINE_FOREST_SPAWNS -->
    <biome name="pine_forest">
        <spawn maxcount="3" respawndelay="0.00167" time="Day" entitygroup="ZombiesAll" />   <!-- 1 minute -->
        <spawn maxcount="3" respawndelay="0.00167" time="Night" entitygroup="ZombiesNight" notags="commercial,industrial,downtown" />

        <spawn maxcount="3" respawndelay="0.00501" time="Day" entitygroup="ZombiesAll" />  <!-- 3 minutes -->
        <spawn maxcount="3" respawndelay="0.00167" time="Night" entitygroup="ZombiesNight" tags="commercial,industrial" notags="downtown" />

        <spawn maxcount="3" respawndelay="0.00835" time="Day" entitygroup="ZombiesForestDowntown" />  <!-- 5 minutes -->
        <spawn maxcount="3" respawndelay="0.00167" time="Night" entitygroup="ZombiesForestDowntownNight" tags="downtown" />

        <spawn maxcount="1" respawndelay="1" time="Any" entitygroup="WildGameForest" spawnDeadChance="0" />
        <spawn maxcount="1" respawndelay="1" time="Night" entitygroup="WildGameForestNight" spawnDeadChance="0" />
        <spawn maxcount="1" respawndelay="3.2" time="Night" entitygroup="EnemyAnimalsForest" spawnDeadChance="0" />
    </biome>

So far so good, Now I have to adjust, entities multicast, to allow street walkers and POI volume with no conflict.

EDIT: The exp value because of the volume for only these street walkers is approx 1/27 of the regular zombie value.

If not done this way then a player could just stand in the street and advance faster than the exp gotten from bombing a horde.

I play primarily solo and 60min feels just a little too short to get prepared by day 7. 90min feels a little long at night, but I have enough time to quest and prep. 60min I am always short on time.

I meant to vote 60, I forgot what the default was for a minute.

Early on, I do like longer days, I used to frequently play between the first day and the first week at 120 minutes.

If I could do it seamlessly, I would probably still do day 1 at 120 but I can't be bothered lately. I just try to up my time management skills (which suck).

I am in panic mode until I get my first base built but after that first horde I relax and the game just takes too long with 120 minute days.

Until I get better guns, I prefer melee. I'll keep a pipe MG for "oh @%$#!" moments but otherwise don't bother with them or even most of the intermediate tier guns either.

I do feel the need to disclose that I play with a headshot mod, so 1 smack in the head with a wooden club and down zeddy goes.
