How many land claim blocks can one player put down in Vanilla game ?

Simple question, but no in game notification of how many left to place down, I just know it's two in experimenting. With 2.0 forcing more exploration and if you have a huge map, kind of need more to place outposts everywhere or prepare to burn a lot of fuel driving. It's like playing Valheim without Portals - it gets dull and tedious real fast travelling.

I do not see Land Claim block limit in Vanilla 7dtd options anywhere, even in the create new game area. Maybe TFP can add that option ?

Yes, that would make for a nice setting to be able to set to whatever value you wanted to have/use.

That setting only allows for setting the size for any/all land claims within a given game. These might have been such a setting (as I also seem to remember someone, somewhere, showing a selectable setting), but it isn't there now and may only have been in some private mod or other.

Would be nice to have the ability for a host player to be able to select this option.

I looked at the settings, there really is no number of blocks, although I think I saw this figure before.

However, when setting up a dedicated server, this setting is there, it's called "LandClaimCount".

I've never used mods. I've sometimes corrected XML, but I've definitely never used mods.

Either this parameter existed and was removed, or I'm confusing it with some other parameter. Although the third option is possible, I saw it in the server information, but now I don't see it there either.

As far as I remember, it wasn't in the game. It is in the serverconfig.xml file, which also applies to solo games and P2P games. You can change the value there.

Maybe they'll eventually add it to the game options inside the game.
