The title says it all. It was only a few weeks or so ago, I saw the post hinting, it was coming "sooner than you think"...cool...but when? Also, have they given any consideration to not locking traders to a biome?
As the roadmap says, Q4 for crossplay. That means by the end of the year. However, TFP isn't known for hitting their deadlines, so it could be March before it happens.
I haven't seen anything that promises random gen for console. I may have missed it, though. If it's possible.
They aren't doing Bloodmoons. As you said, another company is. They just sold them the rights to make it and they said they are there in an advisory role, meaning probably one or two people to make sure it doesn't stray too far from what they want to allow. In no way does that game impact development here.
Balancing will continue until they finish the game in a couple years.
Yea, no way would the fun pimps would make an open world sandbox game then design something and force you into running it. That would be crazy. Now enjoy your quests, and progressive progress through traders, crafting that is only accessible by looting and questing, and loot that only spawns in the wasteland and gear that makes you play a certain way, and poi's that they made so you have to run through them.....
I enjoy the new dungeon style poi and so does wife, buddy on other hand will learn each loot room location and cut straight to it then wonders why he gets hurt and dies more often. He also comes home with no glue or duct tape sees he does not have the base resource to make anything then runs out to run to the end of a POI in hopes he will find what he wants...
I want random maps first then weather no need for cross play likely will never use, but would rather have a more stable game, I have gotten to the point in not even using a drone if found and intelligence is my tree due to all the bugs..

I agree about the drone...I want to like it...I would if it followed behind me at all times. If It didn't decide to sit in front of my fighting position on horde night. It is a great idea, but, frustratingly executed.
That's why I don't use the assassin armor anymore, I like to play stealth but I felt a fully upgrade set was just way OP. When you just sit at the top of the stairs and keep pelting a radiated zombie with arrows and they would instantly lose track of you, the repeated sneak attack damage bonuses at that point just made it too easy.
I never have used the drone myself. I heard so many issues with it (both bugs and getting in the way) that I just simply decided not to use it until it gets fixed. It's a great concept (hovering drone that can apply heals to you automatically and additional storage space) but the execution of it really missed the mark.
