How do you remove sleepers from a Prefab?

0 experience with moding this game, I want to take buildings, copy the prefab and remove the sleepers so I can have them in my own map.  Is this possible and how? sorry for newbishness. Closest I got was copying and renaming the prefab and messing around in the xml files.

 
You could probably copy/rename the POIs you want and remove all of the sleeper and quest properties within their xmls.
