XBOX How can you do this to people and still sleep at night?? Huge 100,000+ block city/mega base gone after update.

I'm an xbox player and I had a 100,000+ block city/mega base with a functional airport, a movie theater, a bowling alley, 2 built in Mario cart style mini bike tracks, a garage that could park 15+ 4x4s, an atleast 1000+ crop plot farm, a centralized generator room with 25+ generator to battery systems that worked in sections to power the entire thing. Motion sensor activated drawbridges and garage doors throughout the entire build, motion sensor activated electrical traps and turrets also having a switch at all fighting positions with a 16 block fall into the fall pit that the entire giant city base WAS floating in, on unpathable corner posts. Anyway ITS ALL GONE. THANKS GUYS. I work 65+ hours per week. The amount of effort and time that was put into this base to design and create it. I designed the base on grid paper, one view vertically (eagle eye, perfectly above) and then another view of each floor that would go into the 6 floors of each of the 4 different floating buildings that created my massive mega base... That's it, gg. I can't even rebuild with the risk of it just all being wiped away again. I'll just wait till Vein comes out on console.

This made me feel sick. How awful for you. I don't blame you for losing heart.

Just as a cautionary note to everyone that as much as TFP tries to keep saves valid within a versioning number they could not make 1.0 compatible with 2.0 and 2.0 won't be compatible with 3.0 and 3.0 won't be compatible with 4.0. I wish there was a way on the consoles to select previous versions so you could revisit old saves and they would not be lost.

Do you have any screenshots of your floating base you could share? I'd love to see what you did-- especially the Mario Kart tracks.

I only have one short on a YouTube, i walk around of the outside but unfortunately I don't have anything else.

You can look up "the ward megabase 7 days to die" and it should come up

The console community should have been made more aware of this. Make some kind of announcement on the home screen or something, if I had known I would've taken more videos and screenshots

P.s. the "Vein" comment was petty from me I just love zombie survival games and for almost a decade, 7 days to die has fulfilled the needs of that niche for me. I think The Fun Pimps have done well with the situation that was handed to them with the console version going to auction and all that happened. I honestly miss the alpha 15/16 purgatory we were in before console got updated to 1.0. It has always been a great game and I still hold a place for it in my heart

The only video I have left

This was months before the end of construction, there was a lot added to the base after this. Including a "zombie dropper" and "zombie catcher" system that i created because zombies started spawning on the roof of the giant tower that I built in the central courtyard of the base. The stage the base was in, in the video is probably only 80,000 blocks. I estimate 70,000-75,000 concrete blocks and 5,000-10,000 steel blocks at the fighting positions

I wish I had videos of the inside, god I miss this base so much. It was named "The Iceburg Hotel" because the majority of the base was technically underground as you see
