So my PCMR "friend" (his status is currently in flux for reasons described shortly) "helped" me build a horde base using techniques he uses on PC. A design that he uses that he likes and convinced me to try is a square base with any block at the corners (I'm using the concrete rounded block) and concrete poles (not pillars) set horizontally at the top, outer corner of the wall blocks. So like this:

CC

is a corner block, P are poles, and === is ground level.
He says that this design works great because you can both shoot and melee through the poles when crouched, and the gore blocks get sort of extruded into the base as they pile up. So it's easy to loot as you fight.
Yesterday I was putting the finishing touches on an 11x11 base using this design when a wandering mini-horde...sorry, "welcoming committee"...stumbled my way. I was glad for a small-scale test of the base.
It went horribly, horribly wrong. After the zombies lost their legs on the upside-down log spikes (set into the ground, so their flat "bottoms" were at ground level), they proceeded to crawl under the lowest pole and chase me up the ladder on my 3x3 central tower. How they climb ladders so well with no legs is a question for another post. It was kind of amusing bashing them on the head and sending them back down the ladder.
So, my question - you people who also play on PC, is there some difference in the concrete pole in A16 that prevents a zombie from crawling under it? Is it a change since A15 and is it considered a bug?
I frankly think the console behavior is more correct, since prone zombies are clearly shorter than the space from ground to the pole, but hey my "friend" said his base was zombie-proof and very functional and I believed him. Man what a sucker I am. I wonder how big of a kickback he got from Big Zombie.
