Hong Kong player looking for a server

Hello.

I'm playing from hong Kong and I'd love to play online. However, my IP number obviously links me to Hong Kong, which is seen as Chinese on most servers, and I'm thus blacklisted on every damn server out there I've tried.

Is there a solution short of using a VPN? (which i'd rather not do, decent ones are quite expensive and it affects my ping)

I'm European by the way.

 
Few populated servers have any contact details up unfortunately.

Also, it's so nice to be banned for 20 years straight after entering a server sometimes even before I'm able to ask if there's an admin online. (not that it ever helped.)

I've given up again. permanently this time. It's just nog going to happen and I'm not going to spend money on it. VPN's are pricey.

 
Hi

Many of those bans come from me via my server manager which is on a lot of servers. If you would like to contact the owner of a particular server, I can probably contact them on your behalf. It is your steam ID that gets banned so if you PM that to me I'll be able to get you whitelisted.

Thanks for the replies and the help, i found what seems to be a great server (with a decent ping) and got into contact with them so it seems i've found myself a home. :)
