HELP! war of the walkers mod

New member
Hi, im new here and to the mod (played 100hrs single player default settings)

i was wondering if there is a way to restore the backpack to original spaces?

the inv screen lags to much and the icons are to small.

or is there a mod that also adds many items and uses the regular backpack?

thanks for the help.

Ps for some reason my other thread disappeared

Most mods that add a lot of items use the bigger backpack because the vanilla one fills up way too fast. There absolutely is a way to get war of the walkers to use the vanilla backpack, it will require some xml editing though and it's not exactly easy. Also much of the lag you experience comes from there being so many items in the game, and probably not so much to do with the bigger back pack. My best advice would be to learn how to make your own big back pack, so you understand how he added his and what you need to change to undo it. :)

Type something random into the search bar, so that no recipes aredisplayed.

The checking if you can craft an item creates lots of lag.

Usually used most common recipes in favorites for no lag.

Could try Valmod which is a little similar. Havent installed Valmod since A16 as Valmar was usually first one to get mod updated after experimental. Think it had option for bigger or vanilla backpack.

I got the impression that huge stackmods plus tons of full stacks around in chests, forges, inventory and so on causes that lag (at least in A16). If it was the stackmods or just the items I'm not sure of. But you can have enormous amounts of materials in one inventory with max stacks, so it is at least a contributing factor.
