HELP - Terrain Rendering as Large Walls Until I Move Closer?

This is happening for anyone on the server, and I have retried making a new server twice on different seeds. Whenever we load in, it is as if there are giant terrain walls in a large square around each character. As we move closer, the walls lower and show what is actually there, but the terrain behind us then becomes a wall. Never have had this issue before. This ONLY happens on the server, not in local games. Does anyone know how to fix it?
