Sure, if you play standard difficulty and aren't a beginner. But with zombies always running, low loot and survivalist or insane settings, cooking your produces allow you to get a lot of useful buffs. And some of us don't use traders (no quests, no trade), so it's only a question of personal gameplay. And don't forget RP players who want to take care of their farm.Correct. Right now it's just not worth doing. Too many resources just to grow food when you'll find months worth of food by looting anyhow.
Between constant looting, quests, supply drops, and vending machines, there's no need to farm at all.
I mean sure. If you want to eat every 5 minutes and be out of stamina all the time, there's definitely enough canned food to go around.Correct. Right now it's just not worth doing. Too many resources just to grow food when you'll find months worth of food by looting anyhow.

Disagree here. Farming is *totally* worth doing. Your max stamina is always depleting and you need food to keep it topped off. Foods like steak & potatoes or the meat stew restore up to 50 max stamina. How many canned foods do you need to eat to restore the same amount? Plus I'd rather save my money to either buy glue/duct tape/books/buff potions or to melt the dukes down to brass to make bullet casings. Not to mention you have to do vendor machine runs. Plus you can grow aloe to make first aid bandages.Correct. Right now it's just not worth doing. Too many resources just to grow food when you'll find months worth of food by looting anyhow.

I agree, it gives the properly functioning farm its value!I really like the farm plot idea. Yeah it takes a little longer to get a good farm going due to having to find so many ingredients to make enough plots but that is part of the fun of it for me. Whenever I go out looting I keep an eye out for the ingredients I need and when I come back I get to add one or two more plots to my farm. I'm finding planting seeds to be very buggy at the moment and I don't plant corn due to it vanishing anytime I leave my base but those are the only problems I've found with the new system.
