Help me find a filler block please

I was rather confident that this filler block existed yet I am unable to find it.

Does anyone know the name of the block that fills this gap in the diagonal railing?

 
argh try trim or corner i think there could be one there or pillar. In the creative menu search

not in game atm will check further when i am

image.pngThis is not the filler block I was looking for.  But if anyone has a full understanding how this block works, please do tell.  I think I need to be using it to stop people from being able to see through the front door before they get there?

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any filler for that.  It seems like it's intended to be connected against a wall or square pillar or something similar.  Not great if you want it to be a long diagonal railing.  Might consider adding a bug report for it asking that a filler block be added.

Is it really a bug though?  idk how to file a report either.  I have come across a few others in the past (can't remember what) where I had to redo an entire section because of a single missing block like that.  Should I be keeping a list of blocks that need to be added when I find things like this?  If feel like if I submit a bug report, as soon as I do, I'll find another block I need that doesn't exist and end up be the guy who asks for too many shapes lol.

You can click the red banner.  It might not technically be a bug, but it's a good place to report it so it can be seen by the devs.  You could always add on to the report with additional missing shapes... at least until they add in what's in that report.  Then you can create another.  Just my thought on it.  Maybe there's a better option.

Good idea.  I'll try it and hopefully it looks decent to me.  otherwise, I'm going to have to redo the entire balcony.
