PC Have the Devs seen the Rebirth Mod!

More Varrants would be great like in darkness falls how more zombies have ranged attacks like the hazmat.

Imagine a toxic Varrants where no matter the zombie they spit at you

I don't know Pokemon, but I kind of want to roll my eyes a little with the notion of an electric zombie, kind of like how I roll my eyes at the notion of a zombie spitting acid. Still, it might be fun game play. As for fire, we already have a burning zombie, so I wonder if that's really what an "orange" zombie brings to the game.
I just hope that they are still editable out.

Cops are already broken enough with their x-ray vision and I can't count how many blade traps I've lost to those annoying @%$#s.

I hope to not see anything that is from Darkness Falls in the real game. Darkness Falls is not a zombie game. It's like going into a kid's room and dumping all their random toys out on the floor and playing with them. You'll have John Cena fighting Chewbacca. Optimus Prime fighting Mr. Potato Head. That's what Darkness Falls makes me think of.

If 2.0 has anything more than what the cop does, like a zombie throwing flaming stones at you, or a flying anime girl - I will be modding that crap out of my game on day 1.

I like it in Darkness Falls that BigMama, Tourist and Hazmat are also spitters. It´s a welcome challenge starting on day one.

I would also prefer that zombies are dangerous due to their numbers, but that train is gone since they decided to do crossplay. PC could handle 2x more zombies even 3x without raising the minimum specs too much.

IIRC that kind of stuff has been in the XML, so I expect you'll have lots of options. I suspect you'd be able to take away special abilities, change their health, change their armor, or even just remove them from the spawn lists. I've not really messed with spawns, so that's some speculation on my part other than I think I looked through those configurations once upon a time.

Yep, I was mainly, poorly, referencing that I hope they never change that.

I have played the mod now almost every day and I have to say that I do like it very much. It has all you can wish for... BUT... darn, is this thing buggy. I have encountered now so many bugs that I lost count. After reaching the high levels (I am now Level 54) it seems that the bugs keeps getting stronger and more frequent, in particular if you have two of these Skeleton Warriors (Level 5) around. I am playing the Witch Doctor. But I guess it is okay, it represents a whole lot of work from Ramsey, and for free for the community, so it's fine with me. I will still switch over again to vanilla when the new DLCs will arrive this year by the developers.
