Windows Gyrocopter blades and propellers spinning backwards

I've never paid attention, but gyrocopter blades auto-rotate and will spin in the direction of air flow unlike a helicopter that will spin based on the motor. And even helicopter blades can spin in either direction depending on the helicopter.

Yup, as Riamus said, the blades up top aren't motorized but move with the airflow to generate lift while the propellers on the back are motorized and provide forward momentum, which is mostly the reason it seems hard to control until you get used to it, as most games just have a standard helicopter. Thanks for mentioning it though.

for sure, here's a little more detail, the pitch of the blades on the in game model currently work like this the top blade is angled down and would push you into the ground generating no lift, and the pitch of the rear blade would pull you backwards.

simple fix make them spin the other way as it would simulate generating vertical lift based on the pitch and airflow of the blades and forward propulsion to push the gyrocopter forward off the pitch of the rear propeller

the in game model does show some kind of connection from the motor to the top blades simulating the top blades are motorized

helicopters can change the pitch of their blades its called feathering, gyrocopter can not
