I dunno, I'm only following the releases. I can't think of anything that would make it crap out, but who knows. :)

...thinking about what to do about tires. What we have is a huge amount of tires on the ground, that are only good for plastic. That makes no sense.

...so I'm thinking:

Tires

Patch Repair Kits

Air Pump like a tool to "repair"

Rims

...that'll give a much less retarded way of making tires than mixing acid with random junk, still keep it somewhat difficult, but also make it more feasible.

It's just silly that TIRES, which are strewn ALL OVER THE DAMN GROUND, are the "gate" for vehicles.

After that I'm going to put some time into learning how to use books as a substitute for buying skills.

Aww yesss, make Crack-a-Book great again!

Oh, now I'm already here, I have a request. Could you rotate the model for the placeable flashlight 90 deg clockwise so the light points away from the player after placing instead of to the left?

Agreed ....

The common sense aproach may be that we have a new recipe set for Tyres to make the complete wheel

i.e

Bicycle wheel Recipe

2x (tire/tyre)

2x wheel hub/rim

Truck

4x (tire/tyre)

4x wheel hub/rim

Minibike

2x (tire/tyre)

2x wheel hub/rim

Motorbike

2x (tire/tyre)

2x wheel hub /rim

Tyres are usually made of rubber so we would need random tyres on ground to yield rubber as well as plastic

Hubs are metal so they could be made at a workbench for the diff vehicles , tyre could be a combination of rubber /glue/Acid/Plastic or something else?

Just a thought ?

Yeah I agree about the number of tires per vehicle.

There are enough hubcaps lying on the ground, I could just rename those to rims, we're using directly, since they're not really what they say they are anyway... For some reason they scrapped to iron...

Or just add rims. If I'm going to do it I might as well do it right.

Re placeable flashlight: figuring that is on my to do list. :-)

I don't think it is as simple as rotating it in unity. But it might be.

Guppycur thnx for the effort! Great modlets. About that light pick up problem. I wanted to let you know that breaking the POI lights wont drop any light sources from your mod. We should all try to find a solution to this!

It should drop when you break the construction light, lantern, and those yellow flashlight.

In other news:

...learning vehicles. This will (hopefully) seat 8 and have a huge storage capacity, but be very loud and slow.

Adds 5 Ton military truck to the game; drives like crap, hates hills but will get the job done. Eventually. No loot or recipe references yet, and I still need to add a huge storage container. I'll tweak is as I go.

Seats 8! I hope. =)

That’s pretty slick!

Added a humvee. It's pretty fun. =)

Suspension is light so you can get some pretty decent jumps off of it, and it'll crawl over alot more things.

Even if there isn't a proper train. I would love to have a "coal car". When you have a mine and you have a huge ass tunnel extending half way across the map it would be great to have way to transport tons of ores back to your mine entrance or to your base. Especially if it could be done unmanned... :)
