Why? There are already 17 different firearms in the game. 24, if you count bows, crossbows, scrap turrets, and rocket launchers.
Adding weapons that look different but basically fall into the same categories would add nothing to the game.

While I regularly play with the Izayo Weapons Pack, I'd have to agree. The base game does not need more guns. The problem with adding more, as was mentioned, is that the game already covers the general categories. And because this isn't a pure realistic shooter, they are not going to pay licenses for adding real-life weapons.

Now I would fully support them making the gun play better, though. While I understand and have argued in the past that this game leans into more arcade-style when it comes to gun play, after having played with the Izzy's guns, it is SO much more satisfying when the guns animate, behave, and sound more realistic. It's the little details. Plus using the actual iron sights for aiming is oddly better (weird idea, I know).

But I'd be fine if they left it as is because, again, mods. Erm, sorry console players?

Could squeeze in a grenade launcher, flamethrower and even a M134 to the mix, would definitely be beneficial to use in bloodmoon.

I would definitely support this. To my knowledge, there's actually code for a flamethrower-type weapon or trap in the game, but I don't think it's ever been used. I don't see why not, though. I suppose the only arguments against it would be fear of being too OP and negative impact on performance. I doubt the latter and the former can be overcome by fuel usage rate.

We got several explosive kinds of ammo for bows and crossbows and a rocket launcher, not sure a different grenadelauncher would add a lot.
But a flamethrower? Yes please, I'll take the performance hit on that!
For better gunplay the input latency needs to be more consistent, for start of a burst/melee as well as the cut off.
