Grandpa's Awesome Sauce used to give +20% to barter, and that was awesome, but now it only gives +10% and that is not so awesome.
Sugar Butts also give +10% and can fairly reliably be purchased from trader vending machines for 300 Dukes. However, Sugar Butts are actually better, because they last twice as long.
You can occasionally find Jen selling Grandpa's Awesome Sauce, and I think maybe Rekt rarely has it too, and if you have things to reduce their prices, you may be able to get them for a lower price than Sugar Butts. In the early game, there could be circumstances where that is worth the exchange.
However in the late game, when you finally have the ability to craft your own Grandpa's Awesome Sauce, 300 Dukes is not that much, and the crafting requirements for Grandpa's Awesome Sauce are comparatively expensive, costing Dukes (which could go toward buying a Sugar Butts instead), large qualities of honey (which are now protected by insect swarms), and super corn (which is also pretty valuable and could be sold to afford a Sugar Butts), as well as the negligible gas and mushrooms.
I used to love harvesting every stump I saw from early game when infection treatment was high priority and into the late game, when Grandpa's Awesome Sauce required four of them (with a point in Master Chef).
Now stumps are a liability, honey is no longer the wasteland treasure it once was, and Grandpa's Awesome Sauce isn't worth the ingredients that goes into it.
tl;dr:
I request that Grandpa's Awesome Sauce be reverted back to +20% barter, or it is just a worse version of Sugar Butts.
