PC Good way to stop the zombie crawler spin

Have a new base setup where zombies fall down a mountain and break legs onto of my base. Issue is that last night horde, I had 8 crawlers stuck spinning on the roof, one pile was 3 high. Anybody find a way to stop this? Hate to put spikes on the top.

Good side effect was that I spent the entire horde night on the roof beating down crawlers.

 
I had to put a roof with a angle to it... I used the 45 angle and full corner pieces for the edge and corner... They tend to just go down the angle

I do what I at work: control the water, and you control the flow.

Slope the roof :)
