PC Goals beyond the 7 days survival cycle

I made my own mod sometime in alpha 16/17 that made the goal finding the "cure". I had made a recipe that you would craft with materials from around the map. Stuff like skin samples from zombie bears, "research notes" that you could find in offices, various chemicals from garage/tool/lab kits. I had one of the materials only spawn inside of apache chests(100% of course) to make sure you had to really explore and you needed more than 1 so you couldn't get lucky at the start of the game.

Personally, I would love to see the Gyrocopter be an end game task. Once you have enough fuel and a Gyro ready to go, you would immediately start scouting area far flung for a safe haven. First stop.

North Sentinel Island

I am sure zombies haven't gotten there. The natives however, will likely fill you full of arrows before you land.

That sounds awesome...be cool to make one material an item only from a t5 poi, another material from drops from a high GS horde night, and the last from the duke... 😂

Where is that exactly? I wanna say its off the northwest coast of Arizona... about 80 miles away from Navezgane.

It's an island off the coast of India where the indigenous people are primitive and have been allowed to remain so. They are extremely hostile. It comes up in the news every so often because missionaries ignore the warnings, go there, and get killed despite even attempting to go there and disturb the natives being against the law. So no...no where near Arizona :p

Yeah... I was just pointing out in a weird way that you're not gonna get there in a gyro.

I've always advocated for multiples of 49 day hordes to become extra-strong, so I have a reason to build something that's better than just what I need to survive a regular horde.
Well gamestage gets higher for each horde night, up until it hits 4096, so in theory what you want is kind of already there. The difference in gamestage between day 49 horde and day 98 horde is staggering.

What he means i think is, that the difficulty should no rise continuily, but there maybe every 5th horde is stronger, next one then are weaker again... something like "normal" according to your gamestage, every 5th horde then with gamestage + 20%.

Yeah I got that but it seems crazy. How about you have the following: a special new multiplier applied to gamestage something like

Day 7: difficulty is 1.0 x gamestage

Day 14: difficulty is 1.0 x gamestage

Day 21: difficulty is 1.0 x gamestage

Day 28: difficulty is 1.1 x gamestage <--- spike!

Day 35: difficulty is 1.1 x gamestage

Day 42: difficulty is 1.1 x gamestage

Day 49: difficulty is 1.1 x gamestage

Day 56: difficulty is 1.2 x gamestage <--- spike!

Day 63: difficulty is 1.2 x gamestage

etc

I've also thought this idea would be awesome. It's the 7th of the 7th night hordes after all lol. It would be perfect if it was extra-strong.

thats a brilliant idea

I would love to see a final goal in 7d

The Cure is a very good idea - I played with other Solutions to enable a final goal:

-get the escape-from-Island-ticket (maybe buy it for 1 Mio chips / or do a final quest for the Duke)

-become Duke of Navezgane (when bandits, NPCs and fractions are implemented to the game)

however - is it possible to have this mod for A18 ???
