PC Give experience to self

I messed up and forgot to back up my saved game and lost everything. :mad-new:

So I am using creative mood and command console to get my game back. You used to be able to give yourself experience for say Mining skills and see that it no longer exists in the command console.

I want to get my player back to level 60 and am having a challenge trying to figure out how to do it.

I know you can still giveselfxp but I am thinking I might end up giving myself too much xp.

You have to give yourself xp in the millions to get to 60 (i think). Just start with giveselfxp 100000. Then klick shift-arrow-up and return key again and again until you reach 60. Add a zero if it goes too slow, remove a zero if it goes too fast. Or did I misunderstand the problem?

No you didn't. Thats what I ended up doing. I am back to where I was and thanks for the help and am now back to my process of backing up saves.
